Hookshouse Pottery Exhibition and NGS Garden Open - 26th May - 3rd June

Situated near Tetbury GL8 8TZ the garden offers a combination of dramatic open perspectives and intimate corners. Borders, shrubs, woodland glade, water garden (unfenced), kitchen garden and orchard run on organic principles. Pottery show room and Art and Craft exhibition. Hodges Barn open for NGS - 3rd June - 4th June

Hodges Barn situated on the edge of Shipton Moyne GL8 8PR. Very unusal 15C dovecote converted into family home. Rambling roses, clematis, vines, hydrangeas and together with yew, rose and tapestry hedges create formality around the house. Herbaceous borders , water and woodland garden and much more. The Winters Tale - Goods Shed Arts Tetbury - 9th June

Written by Shakespeare in his later years, 'The Winter’s Tale' is an intriguing mix of drama and comedy sparked by an obsessive envy of a perceived relationship between his Queen and his oldest friend, Leontes, King of Sicilia.

 

Tremendous entertainment for a Summer evening from this premier professional all-male company, The Festival Players Theatre Company.

National Garden Scheme - Charlton Down House near Tetbury - 10th June

TETBURY COMMUNITY BIKE RIDE - 10th June

This is a sponsored cycle ride for everyone along the quite lanes and off-road paths round Tetbury. Jay Foremans Childrens Show - Goods Shed Arts - 10th June

Disgusting Songs for Revolting Children from Jay Foreman the award winning musical comedian whose songs have been heard on BBC Radio 4, Radio 4 Extra, The One Show, London Live TV and Dave Gorman’s UK/Ireland tour.  Jay provides a devilishly cheeky hour of songs, poems and comedy for children of all ages in this family-friendly show, which regularly sells out its entire runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Stand-up poet, armchair revolutionary, comedian and broadcaster, Elvis McGonagall resides at The Graceland Caravan Park somewhere in the middle of nowhere, where he scribbles verse whilst drinking Scotch, listening to Johnny Cash and throwing heavy objects at his portable telly.

NGS Open Gardens Day - Manor Farm - 17th June

Manor Farm Crudwell SN16 9ER about five miles from Tetbury is open 2pm-5pm. 

Adm £4, Child Free. Wheelchair access, refreshments, plants for sale and dogs on short leads.

Set within Cotswold stone walls a half acre garden divided by box and yew hedges create herbaceous and rose borders. A further 5 acres of mini parkland for you to stroll in as well.

Westonbirt House and Gardens are the creation of successive members of the Holford Family, most noted Robert Staynor Holford who founded Westonbirt Arboretum and also stocked his garden with exotic plants. NGS Open Gardens Day - Whatley Manor - 28th June

Whatley Manor SN16 0RB about five miles from Tetbury is open 2pm - 7pm.

Whatley Manor is a hotel with grounds of 12 acres divided into 26 distinct rooms each with a strong theme based on colour, scent or style including specially commissioned sculptures.
